1937 – 2023Co-founder of Cambridge Minor Baseball, coach to generations of players, and a 2007 inductee to the Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame as a builder. The rule desk in this app carries his name because that is who you asked when you didn't know the call.

Questions
Straight answers.
Is this a scoring or team-management app?
No. There are good apps for lineups, scorekeeping and parent messaging. Base-Path does the part they skip: designing the ninety minutes of practice between the games, and teaching the skill once you're there.
Where do the drill animations come from?
They're authored, not generated at runtime. Each drill is drawn in the same blue-pen language and choreographed frame by frame, then reviewed by a coach before it ships. Nothing becomes teaching content without that review.
Can I trust the rules answers?
Treat them as a fast read of the official documents, with the passages shown. Coach John links every source he used and refuses to answer for leagues whose rule set isn't indexed yet. The current rulebook and your league always control the call on the field.
What happens at the field with no signal?
Everything keeps working. Plans are saved to the device first; changes made offline are queued and replayed in order when you're back on a network, so you never end up with two copies of the same practice.
Is it only for baseball in Ontario?
The drills and the planner are sport-general baseball. The rulebook chain currently maps the Official Baseball Rules down through Baseball Canada, the provincial body and your local league, and the association list is deepest in Ontario. Other provinces and bodies get added as their source sets are indexed.
Wasn't this called CoachOne?
It was, during the pilot with the Cambridge Cubs. The name is Base-Path now. Same engine, same drills, same Coach John.
